Placing an Order

When you place an order on our website:

• Your order is an offer to purchase the product(s) at the price displayed
• You will receive an automated order confirmation email — this is a receipt, not acceptance of your order
• A binding contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation or, for made-to-order items, when production begins
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before this point — for example, due to product unavailability, payment issues, or suspected fraud — and any payment taken will be refunded in full

Pricing & Payment

• All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable
• Standard delivery is free across mainland UK and Northern Ireland — see our Delivery Information page for full details
• We accept payment by major debit and credit cards, PayPal, and Klarna (subject to eligibility)
• In the unlikely event of a clear pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any sum paid before dispatch
• Title to the goods passes to you on full payment and delivery, whichever is later

Can I Change My Delivery Date?

Yes — you can change your delivery date. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@almabeds.co.uk so we can rearrange your delivery. To avoid a missed-delivery charge, please give us at least 48 hours' notice before the booked slot.

Can You Deliver to My Room of Choice?

By default, we deliver to the front door of the address provided. If you live in an apartment or block of flats, delivery will be made to the building lobby only.

If you have selected our optional bed assembly service at checkout, our team will deliver to the room of your choice. Please note that lift access is required if the room is more than two flights of stairs up — otherwise we may not be able to complete delivery to that room safely.

How Do I Inform You About Delivery Restrictions?

If you believe there may be access restrictions or difficulties at your property — narrow staircases, restricted parking, lift outages, gated access, or anything else — please send us a message in advance at info@almabeds.co.uk with your order number. The earlier we know, the better we can plan a safe and successful delivery.

Returns, Refunds & Warranty

Our beds are made to order to your personal specification and are non-returnable for change of mind once delivered correctly and in acceptable condition (see Returns & Refund Policy). This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if your item is faulty, damaged on delivery, or not as described.

All beds are covered by our 5-year structural warranty — see the Warranty page for full details of what is and isn't covered.

Use of Our Website

You agree to use almabeds.co.uk only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use our website in any way that breaches applicable UK or international law
• Transmit unsolicited advertising, malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, server, or any connected system
• Scrape, copy, or otherwise reproduce content from our website for commercial use without our written permission
• Impersonate any other person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our website without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

Account Security

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use.

Intellectual Property

All content on almabeds.co.uk — including text, product photography, graphics, logos, brand names, and the overall site design — is the property of Almabeds or licensed to us, and is protected by UK and international copyright and trade mark laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

Product Information & Images

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, and photographs on our website are accurate. However:

• Colours and textures may appear slightly different on different screens — we strongly recommend ordering free fabric samples where available before committing to a bespoke colour
• Dimensions are stated to industry-standard tolerances; minor variations are normal in handcrafted furniture
• We reserve the right to make minor changes to specification or design that do not materially affect the quality or function of the product

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Breach of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
• Any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded

Subject to the above, our total liability to you in respect of any single order is limited to the price you paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or business losses arising from your use of our website or purchase of our products.

Events Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where the delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to: strikes, supply chain disruption, courier failures, severe weather, fire, flood, pandemic, war, civil unrest, or government action. Where such an event occurs, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and either reschedule or, if delivery is no longer possible within a reasonable time, offer a full refund.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at info@almabeds.co.uk — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right to refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider or to take legal action.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in this clause affects your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business or in the law. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

If Any Part Is Found Invalid

If any part of these Terms is found by a court to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply. Each clause stands independently.
