Upholstered Bed Frame
All bolts are pre-attached to our bed frames for your convenience.

Unscrew All Pre-Attached Bolts
Remove all 8 bolts attached to the headboard and footboard. Keep them organised and within reach — you'll need them in the next steps.

Attach Side Rails to Headboard
Click in the side rails on both left and right of the headboard side first, marked A and B. Tighten bolts slightly — do not fully tighten yet.

Attach Side Rails to Footboard
Click in the side rails on both left and right of the footboard side, marked C and D. Tighten these bolts slightly as well.

Insert the Centre Support Bar
Place in the support bar(s) marked E in the centre of the frame. Once in position, tighten all 8 bolts firmly in all 4 corners.

Place the Slats Evenly
Distribute the slats evenly across the frame, marked F. Screwing them in is optional — some customers prefer to remove them for cleaning.
If you have base boards instead of slats, place them on top and join in the middle. Leave a small gap at the head and foot for access.

Metal Slatted Frame

Assemble the Outer Frame
Start with the headboard, side rails and footboard. Slot in the side rails and align them. Nuts are pre-attached to the bolts. Use a size 13–14 spanner.

Insert the Support Bar & Baseboard
Place the long black bar inside the storage base. Insert the baseboard in place before assembling the gas lift storage frame. Bolts are pre-attached inside the side rails.

Prepare the Metal Slatted Frame
Open the slatted frame. Place the small black bars on either side of the frame using the 4 Allen key bolts provided.

Attach the 'U' Bar
Place the 'U' bar on one side of the metal frame where you positioned the smaller black bar.
The 'U' bar only fits on one side. Do not attempt to fit on both sides.

Fix the Gas Lift Pistons
Secure the gas lift pistons in place. If the cylinders don't align, slowly twist the hydraulic cylinders until they line up.
The lids will not close without the mattress placed on top. This is completely normal.

Secure the Lids & Footboard
Use the plastic-headed bolt to secure the lids together — look for the pre-made rip indicating where the screw goes. If your bed has a footboard, slide it into place once the lids are closed.

Divan Bed
The simplest setup. Unpack carefully and familiarise yourself with each part.

Attach Chrome Legs
Click the chrome legs into each base with a firm tap. Position the base in the final bed placement before locking legs in.
Once locked in, the legs cannot be removed. Double-check your placement before attaching.

Attach the Headboard
Line up the headboard cutouts with the holes in the back of the base. Pierce the material at the marked points. Screw in the bolts with the white washer — 2 bolts per side.

Join the Two Base Halves
Push in the 2 U-clips to firmly secure the two base halves together, creating a stable, unified platform for your mattress.

Secure the Lids
Use the plastic-headed bolt to lock the lids together. Each lid has a pre-made rip showing exactly where the screw should go.

Place Your Mattress — You're Done!
Position your mattress on the assembled base and enjoy your new bed. The divan is now ready for a great night's sleep.
