At Almabeds, every bed that leaves our West Yorkshire workshop is built by craftsmen who put their name to their work. We're confident in the quality we produce, and our 10-year warranty reflects that confidence — giving you decades of restful sleep with complete peace of mind.

What Your Warranty Covers

Your 10-year warranty protects the structural integrity of your bed from the date of delivery. This includes:

  • Timber frame and joinery — the base, side rails, and headboard structure
  • Ottoman lifting mechanisms — gas struts, hinges, and pivot points on all storage beds
  • Drawer runners and glides — on all divan and drawer bed models
  • Structural upholstery supports — webbing, stitching integrity, and internal framework
  • Feet and base fittings — castors, glides, and levelling feet

What Is Not Covered

Our warranty is comprehensive, but a few reasonable exclusions apply:

  • Normal wear and tear through everyday use
  • Fabric fading, pilling, or natural variation in colour and weave over time
  • Natural settlement or softening of mattress fillings — this is expected behaviour, not a fault
  • Accidental damage, misuse, or failure to follow our assembly and care instructions
  • Damage caused by pets, children jumping on the bed, or exposure to water and liquids
  • Commercial use (our warranty applies to domestic use only)
  • Any modifications or repairs carried out by third parties
  • Mattresses, which carry their own separate manufacturer warranty (see product listing)

How to Make a Claim

  1. Contact us at info@almabeds.co.uk or +44 7597 656202 with your order number and a description of the issue.
  2. Send photographs of the affected area — this helps us diagnose the problem quickly.
  3. Our team reviews your claim within 2 working days and confirms the next steps.
  4. Resolution — we'll repair, replace the affected component, or collect and replace the item entirely, at no cost to you where the claim is valid.

Missing or Replacement Parts

If any components are missing on arrival or need replacing during the warranty period, contact us and we will dispatch most parts within 48 working hours at no cost. Occasionally, parts sourced from third parties may take slightly longer, but we will keep you fully informed throughout.

Independent Inspection

In the rare event of a dispute over whether an issue falls within the warranty, either party may instruct an independent furniture inspection company (such as Homeserve Furniture Repairs or an equivalent FIRA-registered inspector). Where the inspection confirms a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, we will cover the cost of the inspection and resolve the issue promptly.

Your warranty is registered automatically There's no form to fill in. Your warranty is tied to the email address used at purchase — simply keep your order confirmation for your records, and we'll take it from there.

UK Fire & Safety Compliance

All our products meet the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended). Permanent labels are attached to every item confirming compliance. Please do not remove these labels, as they may be required for warranty and insurance purposes.

Transfer of Warranty

Our warranty is extended to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners. Please retain your proof of purchase.

Your Statutory Rights

This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For information on faulty goods and returns, please see our Returns & Refund page.
